GAME DAY PROCEDURES

The Mid-Atlantic Premier League is a Zero-Tolerance League

Any verbal or physical abuse towards referees, staff, participants or spectators will not be tolerated. Doing so will result in ejection from the facility and possible suspension. This goes for all players, coaches, and spectators before, during, or after a program or game. The Mid-Atlantic Premier League encourages fair play, friendly competition and the opportunity for all to enjoy our facility without fear of harassment or physical harm.

Red Card Reporting: Please contact League Director Brian Thomsen bthomsen@nlsasurf.com with player first and last name, player jersey number, name of the team player is from, and description of the red card offense.

Grace Periods

  • Referees - 30 minutes

  • Home Team - 15 minutes

  • Away Team - 30 minutes

​Pre-Match - Communication

  • Confirm game date, time and venue with opponent

  • Update GotSport with game details

  • Confirm uniform colors with opponent

    • Home teams changes if conflict​

  • HOME TEAM PAYS FULL REFEREE FEE

Pre-Match

  • US Club Soccer Official Roster

    • All players playing on that day must be pre-filled into the match card 

  • Gotsport Match Card / Game Card 

    • All players playing on that day must be pre-filled into the match card 

  • US Club Soccer Passes For All Players / Staff

    • NO PASS = NO PLAY

  • HOME TEAMS - Make Sure You have Referee Fees 

  • HOME TEAMS - Please make sure there’s sand bags on goals and corner flags and the field is a safe environment for league play.

U15 -> $200 Per Game ($100 | $50 | $50)

U17 -> $200 Per Game ($100 | $50 | $50)

U/1819 -> $200 Per Game ($100 | $50 | $50)

REMINDER - HOME CLUB / TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING REFEREE FEES

Referees: No Shows

  • 11U and older - 3 referee system is expected

  • Confirm referees with assignor

    • If referees do not show at field, contact assignor

  • Policy for no show referees

    • Play with a designated ref or parent.

    • Both teams must approve the individual used for refereeing.

    • If teams decide to play the game as a friendly, both teams must send notification to the league prior to kickoff.  

    • The default position of the league is if the game is played the result stands.

    • If the game is not played, it will be rescheduled and the home team will travel to the opposing team.​

U16 -> 80 Minutes (2x40 halves) *Size 5 Ball*

U17 -> 80 minutes (2x40 halves) *Size 5 Ball*

U18/19 -> 80 minutes (2x40 halves) *Size 5 Ball*


Substitutions Reminder:

UNLIMITED SUBSTITUTIONS (for now). Please remind coaches to NOT abuse this rule and should be respectful of the game, the opponent, and the referees when completing substitutions.

Post Match

  • Score Reporting:

    • The home team must report scores in GotSport within 24 hours.

    • Click Here To Head To Public Schedule Link

    • Hit ‘Scoring Entry’ in upper right hand corner

    • PIN: 2526 and submit score using your game # found on match card

    • You can also use the QR code in the top of the match card

    • Red Cards: Please report all red cards to Brian Thomsen at brian@midatlanticpl.com
      Game Issues:
      Report any referee, conduct, or facility issues directly to league administration after the weekend.
