Mid-Atlantic Premier League Shines at
2025 US Club Soccer NPL Finals in Debut Season

Denver, CO - July 14, 2025
In just its inaugural season, the Mid-Atlantic Premier League (MAPL) made an emphatic national statement at the 2025 US Club Soccer NPL Finals, with five teams winning Black Bracket championships and one team advancing to the semifinals. The league’s top-performing clubs traveled to Denver, Colorado from July 7–14 after qualifying through their respective MAPL divisions.

All MAPL representatives competed in the Black Bracket, which featured top teams from various leagues within the National Premier League. These included the Great Lakes Premier League, the Midwest Developmental League, the Mountain West League, the Virginia Premier Soccer League, and the Washington Premier League.

2025 NPL Finals – MAPL Highlights

NPL Finals Champions (Black Bracket)

  • U13 Girls: WSA Union County FC

  • U13 Boys: Parsippany SC

  • U14 Boys: Cohansey Premier SC

  • U16 Boys: Princeton FC

  • U17 Boys: Princeton FC

NPL Finals Semifinalist (Black Bracket)

  • U15 Girls: WSA Union County FC

“Our teams didn’t just show up — they dominated,” said Ashley Nesbit, League Director of MAPL. “To send eight teams to our first-ever NPL Finals and come home with five championships and a semifinalist speaks volumes about the strength, commitment, and quality of our league members.”

The Mid-Atlantic Premier League, a member of the National Premier Leagues (NPL) under US Club Soccer, was formed to provide a high-level, club-driven platform for elite teams throughout the region. In its first year, MAPL has already proven to be highly competitive and collaborative member of the National Premier League.

As the league looks ahead to 2025/26, MAPL is focused on expanding opportunities, enhancing the player and club experience, and deepening its footprint within the US Club Soccer NPL system.
