What is the Mid-Atlantic Premier League Regional Development Program?
What is the Mid-Atlantic Premier League Regional Development Program?
The MAPL Regional Development Program (RDP) is a league-led Player Development Program (PDP) launched within the Mid-Atlantic Premier League to enhance player identification, development, and pathway alignment.
MAPL RDP forms regional select teams from within the league, offering identified players the opportunity to travel domestically and compete in internationally recognized competition environments. The program is designed to be supplemental to club play, respecting club schedules, training environments, and long-term development plans.
This initiative strengthens MAPL’s commitment to a player-first, development-driven model while aligning directly with US Club Soccer’s PDP and id2 pathways.
